About the names
Huginn is one of Odin's two ravens in Norse mythology. Every morning Huginn ("thought") and Muninn ("memory") fly out over the whole world, and every evening they come back and tell Odin what they have seen. Huginn does the same for us: it reads the logs from all our servers and tells us what is going on.
Heimdall is the watchman of the gods. He guards Bifrost, the bridge into Asgard, needs less sleep than a bird, sees a hundred leagues by day and night, and hears the grass grow. When danger comes, he blows the Gjallarhorn. Heimdall watches our web shops for harmful bots and sounds the alarm, with a suggestion for how to keep them out.
